Potential
Our self-concept, our consciousness,
is the launching pad for our future.
Our new planets can be an energetic gateway to the multiple levels of our consciousness. Sigmund Freud compared the mind to an iceberg with 10% of our conscious awareness is the top of the iceberg and mentally visible. The other 90% is a reservoir of feelings, thoughts, urges, and memories that are outside of our conscious awareness. Our subconscious keeps our hearts beating, lungs breathing, and us alive, but is there more? It is invisible, but has very real and present energy and life. Some say that hypnosis shows our subconscious memory is virtually perfect.
I associate consciousness with “dark” (or non-visable) matter and energy. Evidence for dark matter came in 1933 as astronomers indirectly detected dark matter through its gravitational influences on stars and galaxies. In the 1970s measurements of the rotation speeds of individual galaxies found more evidence. It is about five times more common than normal matter.
Astronomers measuring the expansion of the universe led to the discovery of dark energy in 1998. Two independent teams of astronomers presented evidence that the universe’s expansion rate is actually accelerating rather than slowing down. It goes back to Einstein’s idea of a cosmological constant that would keep the universe from imploding. The Hobble website speculated on many possibilities including that it possesses some weird, unexpected characteristics The Nasa website estimates that 68.3 to 70% of the universe is dark energy and says that dark energy is just the name that astronomers gave to the mysterious “something” that is causing the universe to expand at an accelerated rate. NASA’s Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope, set to launch by May 2027, is designed to investigate dark energy.
Some scientists think that there could be some combination of dark energy and dark matter, though the two are currently considered completely separate from one another. I associate it with consciousness. All life is vibration. That includes the galaxies and us.
Our self-concepts and what we believe of human potential is the master programmer of consciousness. It is like the radio or television channel selector. With it, we select what in our vast subconscious awareness becomes conscious. Freud impled we connect with 10% of our brain. Others say Einstein used 14% of his brain. What if Einstein was able to connect with Cosmic Consciouness? Could consciousness be a fundamental non-visible (dark) feature of the universe? If one human can connect with this, how many others have, or could, also connect?
